The first collaboration, "DAIKI TSUNETA SUPERSTAR," sold out immediately upon its release in November 2022 and garnered a huge response. Now, we are releasing the highly anticipated second installment in its lineage: the latest model “SUPERSTAR II atmos DAIKI TSUNETA POINTLESS JOURNEY” in collaboration with Daiki Tsuneta’s creative project, "POINTLESS JOURNEY."
This work is realized through the intersection of POINTLESS JOURNEY, adidas Originals' reliable craftsmanship, and atmos' cultivated street sensibility. It is a pair that fuses the identities of the three parties, centered on Daiki Tsuneta's perspective, who has traversed the fields of music, art, and fashion.
The base uses the "SUPERSTAR," which has continued to evolve for over half a century since its birth. While following the classic form, it has been sublimated into a product with a new presence.
The colors are available in two shades: a deep DGH SOLID GREY and a clear ONIX that gives a sophisticated urban impression.
The upper uses high-quality suede material, and by finishing it with the same material all the way to the shell toe, it adds new appeal to the iconic form of the SUPERSTAR.
The details reflect the philosophy of POINTLESS JOURNEY throughout. On the side, "SUPERSTAR" is replaced with POINTLESS JOURNEY engraving, and Daiki Tsuneta's signature is embroidered on the back of the tongue.
Included accessories are two types of removable long shoelaces (one in the same color and one with a contrasting accent on the heel), two pairs of shoelaces, and two types of metal shoelace graphic pins. Every detail of this shoe is designed with the wearer in mind, allowing them to complete it themselves.
